May 23, 20179 yr Hi, I have a Marvell PCI x2 4 Port SATA Controller. I can see the controller in the Unraid logs and the attached disk is visible in the MB Bios however I can not get it to appear in Unraid. I have read through older Forum posts and followed the suggestions that I can find. i.e. Modified Go script and modified append command in the syslinux conf. Still no joy. I have attached the latest diagnostics archive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks tower-diagnostics-20170523-1211 (1).zip
May 23, 20179 yr Author Already gone down that route. Added the modified append command with iommu=pt and also disabled virtualization on the MB. Still no joy.

May 23, 20179 yr Author I disabled again and re-ran the diagnostics. Still no joy. tower-diagnostics-20170523-1254.zip
May 23, 20179 yr Author I disabled SVM which is the only option I can see in the Bios. Not sure where to go from here then... Would go for a different SATA card if I knew of one that worked.
May 23, 20179 yr Community Expert I don't know that board, maybe it's a bios problem, but it's still enable for sure. If 2 ports are enough you can get an Asmedia based controller, 4 or 8 ports get an LSI, both work without issues.

Johnnie - Would you mind posting the log entries that are telling you that virtualization is enabled? Would be helpful for future readers to know what to look for. Thanks!

May 23, 20179 yr Author Sorted I believe.. Disabled IOMMU and now the disk has appeared in Unraid. Thanks
