import vm?

Hi 

 

i need to import an vm, just updated the unraid to 6.3.4, after that my wm and dockers was gone,
got the docker up and running again, but how do i import the vms ? 

Ive tried to create a new one, and dont start it, then replace the vm disk with the old one, 
but got errors on boot,

Is the cache drive full?  is the share VM-FILES on the cache drive?  (didn't check them all, but it appears that none of the shares are set to use the cache drive at all)

no none of them run on the cache drive at all, i got them on the array

and there is 93gb free on the cache drive

Does that file exist within the VM-FILES share?

and the error is "Boot failed. EFI misc device"

Once after an OS upgrade, I had an issue (can't remember exactly what the error was), but I solved it by switching the vdisk location on the template from /mnt/user/shareName/vdisk1.img to be /mnt/cache/shareName/vdisk1.img.  I couldn't however replicate the problem after fixing the template, so I never posted anything about it...

Gonna give it a try, had the same problem with Plex as docker, it couldn't run on other drives then the cache

What version did you upgrade from?  There was a onetime thing for EFI when upgrading to something like 6.2

is there anyway i can mount or open the file and take the files i need ?

I've tried this fdisk -l img file :

found a way

 

mount -o offset=$((1050624*512)) vdisk1.img /mnt/user/tmp/1/

where 10.... is the start off the second partition Oo and the i got lost, but now i can access the files

My 2 VM's are now not showing in the UI at all.    They are on the disk.   Darkgeej 'found a way' but didn't share...
