Black screen when trying to passthrough Fury X in W10 VM

Featured Replies

Im currently trying to do a 2 Gamers 1 CPU build with my updated pc.

My setup is currently:

Ryzen 5 1600X 3.7Ghz

MSI X370 Gaming PRO CARBON

8Go DDR3 2667MHz

Current Unraid boot gpu : AMD Gigabyte R9 Fury X

Second GPU : NVIDIA ASUS GTX 760 Direct CUII OC

Backup GPU available for unraid to boot on : HD 6770

unraid on PNY OTG 32Go

Since i have problems with IOMMU group when using my third PCIe16x GPU (showing in same group as a lot of intregrated stuff on the mobo), i've tried using the fury X as a boot card.

My current setup is in this state :
My first VM (R9 Fury X) doesn't output anything at all even when i dont use it as a boot card(i use it daily on w10 for gaming and it works loudly, but perfectly). i can start the vm in vnc rn but not with the fury X.

My second VM (GTX 760) seems to work, need more time to test it.

R9FuryX is alone in a IOMMU group with its audio controller.

same for GTX 760.

(I needed to enable ACS override to make them show up in different IOMMU groups)

I'm pretty new to unraid but i can find my way in the settings, i don't mind dealing with xml stuff if it's necessary.

Thanks in advance,

Kappawaii.
