May 26, 20179 yr Hi all, Unraid boots fine. When I mount the array, the boot device's directory goes blank, leaving my plugins and docker apps in a mess, or missing. I get these indicating the boot drive dismounting ata16: hard resetting link ata16.00: exception Emask 0x0 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x0 action 0x6 kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 202016) failed I tried swapping USB drives and ports. Problem still occurs. Rebooting the system gets me back to a clean pre-mount system. Again, upon mounting the array, these problems begin. Where can I begin to troubleshoot this problem?

May 26, 20179 yr Community Expert That suggests your USB flash drive cannot be read successfully. This could be the USB boot drive is failing or dropping offilne? Another common issue is the motherboard port - if at all possible use a USB 2 port.
