Options for automated backup of a specific unRAID share(s) to another NAS box

Featured Replies

What is recommended to automate backups of a specific unRAID share or shares to another NAS box?

I briefly looked at Crashplan, but it is unclear if the docker will do what I'm wanting to do.

Thanks!

CrashPlan can be used for backups to their cloud or locally to another server. You can probably use the plugin Unassigned Devices to mount a share on the remote server (NAS box).
Note(!) that CrashPlan does a backup to a compressed backup archive (not a file backup) so you would need CrashPlan to restore the backup as well, not just a simple file copy.

You can use rsync together with the user scripts plugin.
