Dual Parity to Single Parity?

Hey! Quick question....I've combed the forums for this but I can't seem to find the answer myself. Maybe Im not using the correct keywords.. anyway....!

 

I was wondering if I could safely drop my array down from dual parity to single parity without data loss or compromising anything? Would it just need to do a parity sync when I start the new single parity array? Thanks guys!

    stop the array, unassign parity2, start the array and you're done.
