System Boots, no Display output, no GUI

Featured Replies

I had a few issues with my system crashing after the upgrading to 6.3.4 it was pretty unstable and unusable only staying active for a few minutes. now my system boots but doesn't output to a screen or start the GUI. I don't even see it show up on my router. Any ideas on what I could do to fix this?

What evidence do you have that it is booting if it isn't on the network and there is no screen output?

all the fans spin up and the Mobo lights up

That only means it's powering up, if there's no screen output it's not posting.

This has nothing to do with unraid, you have basic hardware issues. Start by removing everything except the CPU, power and power switch connection from the motherboard. You will need a motherboard speaker attached if there isn't one built in. Power on, and see if you get POST beeps indicating the memory is missing. No beeps = bad motherboard, cpu, or psu, or try resetting CMOS. If it beeps, add the memory and video back in, and see if it will show something on screen.

You didn't give any list of hardware, so this is advice based on most common generic hardware.
