Cant create shares keep getting error in log

Featured Replies

I am super new to Unraid and not great with Linux to begin with.

Having two issues that I have found so far.

1. Is that when I go to create a share, I get the message "Share <shareName> has been deleted." It does not matter what settings I choose or the share name.

2. Also When ever I select or do anything in the web UI, I get this in the terminal readout of the server:

XFS (md2): xfs_iread: validation failed for inode 3221225568 failed
XFS (md2): Internal error xfs_iread at line 514 of file fs/xfs/libxfs/xfs_inode_buf.c. Caller xfs_iget+0x3b8/0x5d4
XFS (md2): Corruption detected. Unmount and run xfs_repair

I tried unmounting and running xfs_repair, however I am unsure what device is throwing the error and it requires a device.

The device you want is /dev/md2.  You need to stop the array and restart it in maintenance mode.   Failure to do that will not keep the parity information up to date.

Didn't look at the smart info for the drive in question

Well that was easy. Thanks that fixed it.
