June 5, 20179 yr Hello! Hopefully an easy question. The ethernet port on my current rig has failed, and since the rest of the rig is ancient, I'm looking to basically build a new box to put the drives in. I've seen other posts that note (since I'm running 6.3.3), that moving everything over should be fine, just make sure to note which drive (by serial number) is parity... Unfortunately, since I can't pull up the GUI, I'm not sure how to do that from the console / command line. Help! Thanks!
June 5, 20179 yr Community Expert You shouldn't need them but type diagnostics on the console and it will save them to the flash drive.

June 6, 20179 yr Author So, for those that get a silly "eth0 device is not found" or similar error, note that it could also be a bad port on the switch. Glad I have a new rig, a little bummed that I didn't necessarily have to go get one... But, I did upgrade from a very out of date machine. So...
