Call trace and out of memory every now and then

Featured Replies

Usually my unRAID server hovers around 40% RAM usage but it seems some nights it will hit 100% and issue a call trace at the same time, and I have no idea why. Hopefully someone could help me diagnose this. Last time this happened was last night.

When I look at graphs I actually can't see that I ever hit full RAM usage but the plugin Fix Common Problems tell me I did and that it had to close some processes.

I will attach my logs below.

More info

Quick glance, it looks like when mover is running, various apps (all of which can themselves use lots of memory) are issuing the OOM errors.  These include Crashplan, Plex, and Dynamix File Integrity.  Crashplan IIRC is by far the worst offender for memory usage.  You've got 8G of ram, so I don't think the various tweaks for memory will help you (although upgrading to 6.4 probably will).  I would look at the Temporary Docker FAQ, (How do I limit the memory resources of an app) and limit CP down.

Thank you very much for your answer, the problem was less complex than I thought. I actually got 16gb RAM comming in a day or two so that should fix it. My fear was that I had some kind of huge memory leak or other issue.
