June 6, 20179 yr I know the dashboard shows a green thumbs up if SMART status = PASSED, but I am looking for a way to automatically monitor disk SMART data, alert me if any of my specified SMART attributes increment, and track the dates/amounts an attribute increments over time. Looking for something ideally that can plot it out on a graph so it is visually easy to see status for the whole machine at a glance and also see when changes took place. I don't like having to manually check constantly and keep track of it over time...it's a PITA. My linux skills are VERY basic. Is there anything out there that can do this?
June 6, 20179 yr The stock UI will alert you when any chosen attribute changes. It won't however keep track of changes over time. Settings - Notification Settings. Attributes are set via Settings - Disk Settings, and can be overridden for certain drives by Main - Click on the disk.
