Windows 10 VM crashes, then unraid server reboots

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So i am experiencing something weird.  when i am either watching a youtube video, or playing a game my Win10 VM will freeze, then the entire server will suddenly reboot and not a safe shutdown either.  since the server reboots I cant grab any logs.  Is there something i should take a look at or are there any logs that I am not aware of that i can provide?  I am running on unraid 6.3.5 with a NVidia GTX770 on the latest driver.

Thanks!

UPDATE:  I have been constantly seeing the following in logs

Jun 7 16:41:49 Battista-unRAID kernel: pcieport 0000:00:03.0: AER: Corrected error received: id=0018
Jun 7 16:41:49 Battista-unRAID kernel: pcieport 0000:00:03.0: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Data Link Layer, id=0018(Transmitter ID)
Jun 7 16:41:49 Battista-unRAID kernel: pcieport 0000:00:03.0: device [8086:3c08] error status/mask=00001000/00002000

This is what is listed in system devices

IOMMU group 4
[8086:3c08] 00:03.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation Xeon E5/Core i7 IIO PCI Express Root Port 3a in PCI Express Mode (rev 07)

hopefully this helps
