Not enough disk space in flash drive for upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I am running unRAID 6.3.3 and when tried to upgrade to 6.3.5 the process starts but at the end I get the following message:

boot device shows 53756 free but upgrade needs 154412
plugin: run failed: /bin/bash retval: 1

I presume this has to do the with the available space of the boot disk. However, I am using a 16GB flash drive, the info I get about the flash drive is the following:

bootdevice.pngBoot Device
Device Identification Temp. Reads Writes Errors FS      Size     Used        Free
green-on.pngFlash Transcend_16GB - 15.8 GB (sda) * 139 25 0 vfat     206 MB
   150 MB
    55.0 MB

Any ideas/suggestions on hoe to tackle this issue?

Many thanks in advance

Nondas

Toss it into a desktop and check the file system on it?  Barring that, copy all the files to your desktop, reformat the flash, verify its 16G, then copy the files back and re-run make_bootable as an administrator

Thank you so much Squid. I had issues with OS X but used Windows and worked just fine.
