My system had been running perfectly.  From nowhere it began to run very slow.  Hard to get the GUI to come up and then hard to transfer from one menu screen to another in the GUI.

 

Any help that someone can bring would be very much appreciated.  I am an extreme novice who is grateful for the help that more experience members have brought.
