June 15, 20179 yr My system is rock solid on 5 but I want to upgrade to 6. Any time I've tried it just freezes during its parity check and I have to restore my v5 installation. The v6 installation is clean so it's not a plugin or config issue. Based on the wiki, I think it might have something to do with the 2 AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards I have installed but I'm not sure. The wiki says they have issues with v6? Here is the rest of my specs. I don't have a log unfortunately since I needed to get my system back up and runnning. June 15, 20179 yr Community Expert SAS2LP are known to have issues for a few users on v6, but it's usually dropped disks or errors during parity check, not hard freezes, doubt that's your issue.
June 15, 20179 yr Author That's why it's bugging me. Literally, nothing changed in my system from 5 to 6.
June 16, 20179 yr You have a high number of memory sticks in your system. V6 uses memory differently. Run your system with fewer and test parity check again.
