Switched Routers, now IP address subnet different

Featured Replies

My old luxul router that just died was on 192.168.0.1 and my new Edge Router X uses 192.168.1.1, so now I can't access it or any of my files.  I'm not sure how to go about getting into the tower and changing my ip address now, since I can't use /tower or 192.168.0.232.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

2 options. Change the router config so it matches what you had before, or edit the network config file on the unraid's USB key. If unraid is still running, you should be able to safely power it off with a short press of the power button. If you don't do a safe powerdown, you will have to do a parity check when you bring it back up.

If you can get in to the router LAN settings and change its IP and DHCP range to what was previously in use that would probably be quicker.

@jonathanm I was able to change the config files on the USB stick, but I like the idea of changing lan settings on router.  Its an Edgerouter X, so I'm going to need to do some research as I'm not sure how to make that happen.  Thanks for the reply.
