June 18, 20179 yr For the last two parity checks (one monthly, one because I had to restart the system), I got a parity check of 5 errors. However, on the main web page, no errors are/were listed. In the syslog, for the current check, it says: Jun 17 18:41:30 Data kernel: md: recovery thread: Q incorrect, sector=1565565768 Jun 17 18:41:30 Data kernel: md: recovery thread: Q incorrect, sector=1565565776 Jun 17 18:41:30 Data kernel: md: recovery thread: Q incorrect, sector=1565565784 Jun 17 18:41:30 Data kernel: md: recovery thread: Q incorrect, sector=1565565792 Jun 17 18:41:30 Data kernel: md: recovery thread: Q incorrect, sector=1565565800 What do these mean and where are the errors? I run parity so that it should correct errors. Also, I do not know if these are the same sectors listed in the prior parity check; since no errors are listed on the main web page, I did not consider them to be important. Since they've shown up twice, perhaps they are important.
