Keyboard or mouse not working depending if xHCI is enabled or disabled in BIOS

I'm a beginner and honestly don't know what am I doing that well.

I have 2 VMs running. The 2nd VM is working completely fine and both mouse and keyboard (Zowie FK1 and Logitech K120) work fine no matter if xHCI is enabled or disabled in bios.

The 1st VM is acting weird and I think it is because of my keyboard (Corsair K70 LUX) and maybe because of the mice I tried it with (Steelseries Rival 100 and Logitech G403). When I disable xHCI in the bios the keyboard starts working and then both the mice don't work. But when I enable xHCI the keyboard stops working and both of the mice work fine.

This is almost the exact same situation I have run into. I have tried all combination of logitech, corsair and some other branded peripherals and it seems to be that one of the other works. I have even tried assigning the usb's by port instead of vendor and product id like it does by default because I thought there might be some kind of collision. Does yours also seem to flicker on and off and make the vm stutter when configured to make the mice work? mine seems to try to reassign to the keyboard for a second and it makes the whole vm pause and the mouse will flick across the screen if you are wiggling it. 

 

I have looked all over the forum and a

cant seem  to find a solution. Most seem to either give up or give in and pass through an entire usb controller. I'm probably trying to do something to you though with multiple individual vm's in one and so I cant do that due to a dhirtage of pcie slots and controllers. very frustrating and I hope someone smarter tham me can resolve it
