June 20, 20179 yr Hi Hoping i have missed something obvious, or this is a pebcak moment, but it seems straight forward. I have a number of shares that are clearly set private. I have a number of users, with passwords, assigned to these shares with read/write. The shares a repeatedly available to anyone on the network without being promoted for credentials. I just spun up a windows brand new VM on the network (not on the unraid box) and pointed it to the shares, and was immediately able to browse them. There are shares i simply dont want available to anyone on the LAN. I have had to remove them all. Any common 'gotchas' here? Am i missing something stupid? Thanks
June 21, 20179 yr Author Sorry for the slow reply, life is pretty hectic. Just found the place for the diagnostics, and have a zip. Whats the preferred method for making them available? Just attach zip? Post contents of specific files? Cheers
June 28, 20179 yr Author Bump - anyone able to shed some light on this? Also seeing inability to write on some shares that are clear set to read/write.
