You have a lot of memory installed in your server.  One thing to try to install the 'Tips and Tweaks' plugin.  then go to 'Settings'  >>>  'Tips and Tweaks'   >>>  'Tweaks'

 

Set 'Disk Cache 'vm.dirty_background_ratio' (%): '  to "2"

    and

Set ' Disk Cache 'vm.dirty_ratio' (%):' to  "4"

 

I had the same problem a couple of months ago and this fixed the problem for me.

 

What these parameter is allocate that percentage of RAM to allow for delayed writes (and 'ordering' of writes to the drive to save time with reduced head movement)  to your hard drives.  These parameters were set back in the infancy of Linux (when 640MB was a lot of memory!) and today, it results in a enormous amount of RAM for a function that does not really affect unRAID operations or speed.
