This is their Ultrastar line which carries a 5 year warranty. I believe in get the product with a longer warranty because I still have 2GB drives running in my system. They have served me well, but I'm starting to remove them with 8TB drives. Later on, when I'm old and gray, I'll have all SSD type media in there, if that's what is to come. Also the drive was shipped double boxed and with those plastic ends for protection.
