[SOLVED] Server Logging in to Processor Not Unraid

Featured Replies

Hi Guys.  I've had a great experience with UnRaid.  So good (a few years of no issues) in fact that I've completely forgotten what to do in case of an issue.  Well I have one and I'm lost.  My server suddenly dropped today, reappeared and dropped again.  I am getting a SuperMicro Log in screen.  I'm freaking!  Experts?

That's the IPMI login.

j.b I have no idea what that means?  I get a mount and then it defaults to the log in.

Server came back online.  Here are diagnostics.  It will revert back to the Supermicro log in sporadically.  Thanks someone....

If IPMI has the same IP address as your server no wonder you have issues, change it or change your unRAID server IP.

Apparently you also don't know that you have IPMI, in a nutshell it permits you by using your lan to work on the server like if you have a monitor and keyboard connected, boot an ISO, etc, google it, it's one of the best features of a server board.
