July 7, 20178 yr I have this old server lying around (HP Proliant ML350) and I tried installing an Unraid trial. However, the drives aren't showing up.Has this something to do with the RAID controller? (E200i) Can I install extra drivers? -Merobieboy
July 7, 20178 yr UnRaid is expecting an HBA and not a RAID controller, but sometimes there are work arounds. Inside the controller BIOS, you may be able to set it to JBOD mode, which would cause the controller to expose the individual disks to the OS. Alternatively, you might be able to pass through specific disks. My Areca RAID controllers have these options. As a last resort you may be able to configure one or more RAID "arrays", even single disk RAID0 might be possible. Keep in mind that it is quite likely these RAID arrays would not be recognized on other controllers. You'd likely also have challenges getting smart reports, even temperature, from the drives. Look at an LSI SAS9201 as a good HBA alternative.

July 7, 20178 yr The drivers for that card may not be included with unRAID. You could request they be added, but since the card seems like a poor for for unRAID, not sure it would make sense.
