Call Traces Found and irq 16: nobody cared

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

Fix Common problems showed me two errors today:

irq 16: nobody cared

Call Traces found

The Call Traces disapeared after a rescan but I would like to post my Diagnostics here nonetheless. Thanks in Advance for your help with this awesome piece of software.

I was having these kinds of call traces and irq disabled log messages, but since I moved to the 6.4-rc and use UEFI boot, they have gone away.  I think it's a hardware problem because the legacy boot doesn't handle hardware as well as UEFI boot.  Wait for the final release of 6.4 and after you upgrade be sure to boot in UEFI and this should be resolved.

OK, I shall have to connect the Machine to a screen again then :D

Thanks for the advice.

I've never seen them on my current system, but when I brought up another machine and installed 6.35 last night I saw the same error. It was kinda odd and made me laugh "Nobody Cared" Lol
