July 18, 20178 yr I recently had my webgui lock up, as well as my mover freeze at the same time. After rebooting the server, it didnt come back online. i can ssh into it, but the webgui would be frozen. I went to the extreme of changing the usb key thinking it was pooched.. with doing a fresh install of the usb key and copying over the config files it allowed me to boot into gui enough to see what was up. I had to reassign all the drives to their proper placing (i luckily took a picture the other day of my config) but when i go to mount the disks to start the array. nothing happens, it says mounting the disks and hangs up there. Here is my setup: Asrock x99 extreme4 mobo intel xeon e5 12core with hyper threading 16gig ecc ram 50ish tb of storage pcie ssd samsung 960pro is my cache drive... i recently added this 3 or 4 days prior this problem. Im at a loss. Anyone have some insight? syslog.txt
July 18, 20178 yr Author Stupid question how do i check the file system. If i cant start the array? I ssh after rebooting and typed xfs_repair -v /dev/md3 and it did nothing..
