Does a Trial key allow array to be automatically started?

Featured Replies

Running unRAID 6.3.5 on a lobotomized Aspire Easystore AH340.  I have Settings -> Disk Settings -> Enable auto start: set to "Yes", but the array will not start after reboot.

I currently have a trial key installed, but am hesitant to purchase a functional key if I'm dealing with some sort of hardware incompatibility.  The array status is:

"Stopped.  Configuration valid"

.. and if I manually start the array, all is well.

Working as designed?  If not, what could inhibit auto-start when this setting is set to "Yes"?  I've checked the logs and nothing looks awry ...

Thanks!

Could there be an issue with internet connectivity?   The trial license requires that unRAID is able to access the internet to contact the Limetech license server when starting the array.

No - Internet connectivity fine, but good thought!

Hmmmmm - I took the array home and started it in my home office, and it came up just fine.  I'll let you know if I can repeat the problem.
