July 21, 20178 yr okay, i installed unraid following unraids video on how to do it. onto a san disc cruzer 32g usb flash drive. i plugged it into my server, ran through the install and at the end it ask me for a username and password on the acutal server hooked up to a moniter. i didnt give it one and i wasnt given one to give to it. so i get to the unraid server web interface from my pc. everything looks normal except when i try to do anything it says the unraid server is requesting a user name and password. and then it locks me out. this is before i put a product key into it. would that have anything to do with it? i am new into all this and would appreciate the help thank you.
July 22, 20178 yr Can you link to the video you followed? It should have told you to use root as the user and leave the password blank.
July 22, 20178 yr Author and i tried to type that, root for the username and leave the password blank an it didnt work. in on both the server itself and the web interface.
