I wish to backup a share on unraid to xpenology, I know crashplan exists for both systems but I recall reading something that it's quite a resource hungry docker?

 

Is this correct? If so, what alternatives are there?

if its between two machines on your lan then simply use rsync, it doesnt get more lightweight than that :-)

i dont do this personally but i know there are multiple docker images available for cloud storage, i cant really comment on which one is the most lightweight in regards to resources, i guess you would spin a few up and monitor them in an idle state, probably about as good as your going to get right now.

You could try duplicati
