Frustrating; restricts me from a lot of the functionality I wanted from an HTPC VM with new technology. It's a Kaby Lake with iGPU but I'm passing an Nvidia 1050 through for now until they fix the Kaby Lake display drivers

I have not had any problems with hdcp with either AMD or nvidia. For nvidia there should be a tab in the nvidia control panel about the hdcp status and it should tell you what the problem is.

How do you connect to the monitor/TV and does it support hdcp? Might also be a bad cable.
