July 26, 20178 yr SO, after seemingly resolving the issues I was having since my hardware upgrade and my existing SAS2LP controllers (see thread if you are interested https://forums.lime-technology.com/topic/57384-sync-errors-on-parity-check/ ) I had some errors on a couple of my drives after replacing the controllers and performing parity checks. I ran xfs_repair on the two drives that seemed to be causing me issues (metadata corruption for example) and rebooted and then couldn't access my shares form my windows machines on the network. I assumed that the windows networking was the issues - made sure that workgroups were selected, named correctly, connections were available etc etc. However, I finally checked the server and realised all my shares were not there anymore. Over my network I can see my server and can access the flash drive only - none of the drive mapping works. Into the Unraid GUI and there are no shares available. I did another reboot to see if that would have the shares regenerated, but to no avail. I have attached the diagnostics from this morning after the reboot...What did I do that has caused this to happen? Until I performed the xfs_repair on the two drives, there has not been one issue with accessing the shares... tower-diagnostics-20170726-0300.zip Edited July 27, 20178 yr by aspdend Solved
July 26, 20178 yr Community Expert There's still filesystem corruption on disk2 (md2), run xfs_repair again, and make sure it's not running in read only mode (-n)

July 27, 20178 yr Author Bingo! That did the trick - a quick xfs_repair on disk 2 and the server and all shares came up as before! Hopefully that's the last legacy of the issues I've had with the SAS2LP controllers! @johnnie.blackyou are a legend! Thanks for all your help as usual.
