3 Issues with VM's

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of issues that maybe someone can shed some light on! While i can work around them, they are frustrating!

So i have an ASUS MB with i7 2600 and 16gb ram. Onboard gfx to set up and two gfx cards in pci-e for vm's. An Nvidia GT610 and AMD 4350. ACS overide is enabled due to grouping problems.

So, i have a windows 10 set up using the GT610 and i have libreelec using the AMD.

My aim is to run both at the same time using 2 cores each and each on their own HDMI output which i can do but with the following issues:

1) Windows 10 VM will run fine but ANY reboot will lock up the entire server. Restarting the machine will allow it to boot. A pain with updates etc!

2) Libreellec works fine but if i stop the vm it wont restart without a full unraid reboot. I have read some other instance of this elsewhere but seen no solution.

3)Audio on the windows vm goes out of sync after a couple of minutes on youtube/netflix etc. Read its to do with cache drive but cant find a fix.

If anyone could help me along with this i would be so  grateful. I have no flexibilty without the ability to bring down VM's and restart them at will.

Fingers crossed here and thanks!!

EDIT to say i am running 6.3.5
