July 31, 20178 yr I am storing the vms on the cache drive. I am worried in the event of a cache dr failure, I would lose them. Will I be able to recover them from the parity drive? Edited July 31, 20178 yr by ozkhan1 Edit

Will I be able to recover them from the parity drive? No. The parity drive only protects the data drives. If you read the description on the Limetech site of how parity works then you will realise why this is so. the concept of cache pools (I.e multiple drives in the cache) was introduced specifically to protect the cache against data loss when a drive fails.
