Pass-through HBA SAS

Is it possible to pass-through a HBA SAS to a VM so I can plug an LTO 4 into it and back up the array with windows?

 

Or would I be best learning to not be a scrub and figure out how to back it up natively?

    There was a video I saw of someone passing through a SCSI controller so they could use a tape drive. They were passing it through to CentOS, but should be same from unRAID side.

     

    Im not a big tape fan, but have at it! ;)
