Cache question: Raid 0 back to Raid 1

Featured Replies

I've read through the documentation, but I don't want to lose the data and want to double check. Here is what I currently show for cache:

I want to go from Raid 0 back to Raid 1 with both these disks. Can I just do:

-dconvert=raid1 -mconvert=raid1

And if so, can I do this with running vm's dockers?

Thanks!

Your metadata is already raid1, you only need:

-dconvert=raid1

Though it wouldn't do any harm to do both

Yes, and it's a relatively safe operation, but backing up anything important is always a good idea in case something goes wrong.
