I've been using Unraid for a few months with a couple of temporary drives for testing. I finally bought a pair of WD Reds, which are being precelared and will replace the Seagates.

I don't need to keep current data and could even reinstall everything from scratch, but was wondering if just erasing all the files from the shares and then replacing the parity disk first and the data drive second would be a better choice... Any thoughts?
