hello. i am trying to pick out a micro atx motherboard for a new unraid build. i have a i5 6500, gskills ddr4 2133 memory and a samsung m.2 hard drive from a build i never finished. i would like to run one vm. looking to stay under $150 if i can. thanks for the help.

    also check out pcpartpicker, they're pretty good with building up systems and some initial compatibility checks.

    Pretty much what I do with my system - the Asus H170M-Plus I have has been perfect.  6 SATA, 1 M.2, Intel NIC, 3 fan headers, 4 DIMM slots.  I run an i5-6500T with an Arctic passive cooler, 16GB RAM, and a 256GB Samsung NVMe SSD for cache/VMs.
