August 9, 20178 yr So I have an issue where drives connected to my Avago controller are not showing up in unraid. The attached to the mobo drives are. I have the same exact setup at home and unraid sees them fine. Any help would be great.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/598b6ad144138/tower-diagnostics-20170809-1304.zip Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
August 9, 20178 yr Numerous attempts to telnet into your system from China and the Ukraine. Only a matter of time before a bot figures out your root password and your screwed. Take the server out of a DMZ. I'll leave it to others more knowledgeable to help with your actual problem though.
August 9, 20178 yr Community Expert You're using a raid controller, HBAs are preferred, it may work if you assign each disk as JBOD
August 9, 20178 yr Author Squid: thanks for the heads up. I will lock down the acl on my switch. Johnnie.black: I already set the disk to JBOD mode in the megaraid bios. No change.Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
August 10, 20178 yr Author Ok so I figured it out. On my old box, I added the disk after I enabled jbod mode in the bios, which then set that for all disk that I added afterwards. For this one, I added disk then did jbod setting global but it did not change the current drives. Changed it and now it works. Thanks johnnie.black for making me double check.Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
