Avago drives not showing up in unraid

Featured Replies

So I have an issue where drives connected to my Avago controller are not showing up in unraid. The attached to the mobo drives are.

I have the same exact setup at home and unraid sees them fine.

Any help would be great.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/598b6ad144138/tower-diagnostics-20170809-1304.zip

Numerous attempts to telnet into your system from China and the Ukraine.  Only a matter of time before a bot figures out your root password and your screwed.  Take the server out of a DMZ.

I'll leave it to others more knowledgeable to help with your actual problem though.

You're using a raid controller, HBAs are preferred, it may work if you assign each disk as JBOD

Squid: thanks for the heads up. I will lock down the acl on my switch.

Johnnie.black: I already set the disk to JBOD mode in the megaraid bios. No change.

Ok so I figured it out. On my old box, I added the disk after I enabled jbod mode in the bios, which then set that for all disk that I added afterwards. For this one, I added disk then did jbod setting global but it did not change the current drives. Changed it and now it works. Thanks johnnie.black for making me double check.
