August 9, 20178 yr I've been having this problem for the last month where my unraid box will unexpectedly restart, forcing a parity check. I've been tracking syslog recently up until the moment that it decides to reboot but it doesn't show any indication of a restart I've attached a diagnostics report and syslog covering the last reboot but it doesn't show anything. What you need to do is get the syslog up to the restart. Use Fix Common Problems in Troubleshooting mode. May or may not show anything though. First and foremost in diagnosing is to: Run memtest from the boot menu. Ideally for 24 hours, but at least a single pass Post details of your power supply. Check for BIOS updates.
