Unraid crashing/hanging randomly - no idea why

Featured Replies

My unraid install has been crashing for the last couple weeks. I have a drive that was reporting errors so it was disabled, and I've been trying to rebuild it (after doing an extended smart check), however my server isn't staying up more than 6 hours at a time. I've been starting the array in maintenance mode as to reduce the amount of stuff my computer is doing.

When it 'crashes', I the console is unresponsive and it drops off the network completely (i.e. completely locked up).

The error shown is attached in the image. I haven't been able to get a dump of diagnostics after it crashes, however I've enabled troubleshooting mode in Fix Common Problems.

I've attached a post-reboot diagnostics for reference.

Well the disk has restored successfully and this is the longest period its gone without crashing in the last week or so. I've included a monitoring graph of its uptime in the last month as well as a the weird error that was on the screen this morning after it completed. the restore.

Still crashing regularly in safe mode, I'm going to try running native macos and see if it's a hardware problem.
