Unraid restart or crash random

Featured Replies

Hello,

my unraid server restarts or crashs random after 4-5 houhrs working. I do nothing on the web gui.

Here a onedrive link from the diagnostics: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AgFSnzuQ8wo-hLETVIqaPj3wJXfBXw

last crash approximately 22:20 GTM+1.

2 minutes after Crash or Restart the Server is online. The Array is offline and all VMs are offline.

Has anyone a idea?

Diagnostics were after the reboot, so nothing in there.

Better to run Fix Common Problems plugin in troubleshooting mode and then post after the crash

But,

General causes of crashes / reboots:

  • Bad memory (everyone tends to assume that I just bought it, so it has to be good) - Run Memtest
  • Poor P/S - By far the most overlooked piece of equipment on any computer
  • BIOS updates
  • Cooling subsystem
  • No UPS / Poor UPS combined with poor mains supply
  • More than 2 memory modules and the modules are not on the certified list for the motherboard
  • More than 2 memory modules and the CAS timings do not match each other.
  • Dust bunnies (they do conduct electricity)
  • Bad Karma
