Unable to enter password after reboot

Featured Replies

Hello! Never had this happen before but after rebooting server running latest version of Unraid I am unable to enter my password to log in. I watched the whole boot sequence and everything seems fine.  User ID "root" enters easily but then after goes to password area and cursor does not move.  If hit enter then says invalid log in and goes back to user id.  This is in the dos portion not web login.  Unable to access web login so have been trying to get things going from server itself in the dos area.   Thanks for any help.

Cursor doesn't move when on the password line.  Are you entering in the correct password?  (Wasn't clear if you were actually entering in the password or not)

I assume so. Haven't changed it. Cursor doesn't move on password line no matter what key you hit. Acts like the pc is frozen but it's not.  Really weird. Have restarted multiple times with same result

The cursor is not supposed to move there. Have you tried just entering the password and then press enter?

Why are you "unable to access the web login"? Can't you reach the server with a web browser, or won't it accept your login?

Well, I have no idea what I did but was finally able to get it to take my password.  Used the same one and after restarting several times finally went past.  Still unable to connect to the web interface but its probably something to do with a firewall or setting in my router.
