To passthrough my Elgato HD60 Pro I need to patch the kernel as explained here:

I found this Github Gist for a more recent script to compile the kernel:

But that is still using older versions of the OS and Kernel.

How do I find out what versions to use of the packages needed to compile the new patched kernel?

    You might try Looking at the changes log in the first post for the release thread of the unRAID version that you are interested in compiling the kernel.  The version numbers of many of the components are listed there.
