can´t connect to webinterface

Featured Replies

Hello Guy´s,

at first / i´m sorry for my bad english skills!

I wanted to make my first steps with unraid this weekend but i had a big problem.

Hardware:

I7 4790K

Asus ROG Heroe

16GB RAM

GTX 970

GTX 750 ti (for HTPC applications)

2x 512gb SSD

2x 2TB HDD

8x 3TB HDD

I tried to make a / GamerPC / NAS / HTPC......

.....so i prepared the usb stick and everything works.

I enabled VT-d / etc. and followed the introductions in you´re wiki.

But when i tried to enter the webinterface / chrome / firefox / edge can´t find the site.

I tried:

the same with the ip adress

and i tried to connect me with the grafical interface but firefox pops up and told me it can´t finde the site localhost.

Whats the Problem with this build?

I tried many versions of unraid, everytime the same problem.

I tried the same with my "normal server" with a xeon e3 1230v3 and a b85m eco from msi  /the same problems.

Where is the bug in my setups?

Did you manually follow directions, or did you use the USB creator tool? I suspect the stick isn't formatted FAT32 as required.

Going along with the above post, does the system fully boot?

Good Morning guy´s,

stick is formated as Fat32 / and i drag and drop the files on the stick and started the bootable bat.

The system is booting up / to this point everything is fine.

I can see the "Tower login" screen on the computer with the UNRAID USB Stick.

But when i try to connect from an other pc / i can´t connect to the webinterface.

What do you mean with:

"You try to check again your webserver or reset to factory defaults and am able to log via web interface again"

Set factory defaults from my fritzbox router?

Why?

When i have xpenology installed i have no problems to connect to the computer.

Only when i have unraid installed / i can´t connect to the webinterface.

but ok, i can try it ....

Go ahead and log in with user root and no password, and type diagnostics at the prompt. Tell us what happens, if it creates a zip file on the flash drive, attach it to your next post.

DON'T reset your router, that isn't relevant right now.

ok and how can i downloade the diagnostics zip.

it is created on the tower pc, but it isn´t on the usb stick.

How can i downloade the zip folder to my normal pc?

What path did it create it in?

The USB stick should be mounted to /boot when unraid is running, so if it created it elsewhere, copy it to /boot and it should show up on the flash if the flash was prepared and mounted properly.

/boot in unraid is the root of the flash drive.
