August 21, 20178 yr I think they aren't helping because I dont know what permissions to make on it. I keep getting You need permission from Tower/nobody. If I change the owner to root, still get denied. I ran the permissions fix under tools, but it didn't fix it.
August 21, 20178 yr Author Im looking at the file in the command line and the permissions are 101777, nobody, users I just watched it at the command line and did an ls -al, now the permissions are: -rw-rw-rwT+ Still can't edit the file properties. Edited August 21, 20178 yr by RonUSMC
August 21, 20178 yr Samba is a notorious pain in the butt when going from Linux to Windows, how I usually solve it is by adding a a user with the same name as my windows user and the same password on the Samba server, or you can allow unprotected access to the shares, if you get an authentication box on windows when accessing the share try logging in as root.

August 21, 20178 yr Author It's an MKV downloaded by Sonarr/Deluge. I can't for the life of me change these damn permissions. It has a comment in the file properties and Plex sees that as the title, so I can't let it auto update the title. So it has a 'release' title. I got frustrated and just deleted it. I'll just redownload the file from a different source.
August 21, 20178 yr Author I submitted a feature request on Radarr to hopefully take care of this in the future. https://github.com/Radarr/Radarr/issues/1976
