August 21, 20178 yr I was running a 3Tb WD Red through Preclear and it stopped at 86% on the final stage. I left it a day before i stopped it. Step 1 of 5 - Pre-read verification: [7:22:06 @ 113 MB/s] SUCCESS Step 2 of 5 - Zeroing the disk: [7:16:29 @ 114 MB/s] SUCCESS Step 3 of 5 - Writing unRAID's Preclear signature: SUCCESS Step 4 of 5 - Verifying unRAID's Preclear signature: SUCCESS Step 5 of 5 - Post-Read in progress: (86% Done) I then couldn't add it to the array and ran Common Problems. The drive said that the format was auto so I changed that to XFS and am now running a check that says: Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... bad primary superblock - bad magic number !!! attempting to find secondary superblock..... And I've left that running. Any advice? I might just run preclear on 3 cycles after that check has finished. W
August 22, 20178 yr Have you tried the alternate scripts listed in the plugin forum thread? If the plugin itself is having problems I would try using one of the scripts with the plugin and see if that works. Edited August 22, 20178 yr by BobPhoenix
