LibreELEC as VM - Optimal Settings?

Recommended Posts

I currently run LibreELEC on a chromebox to feed my main tv.  I have a few other tvs throughout the house as well, and one now is running on a VM on my unRAID server.

My VM is on the cache disk which is an SSD drive.  I've dedicated 4 CPU and 4 GB RAM.  I've passed through an NVIDIA GPU as well.

Everything works, and works pretty well.  However, it's clearly not as snappy/responsive as the chromebox.  When you fast forward 30 seconds it will take a full second to populate the new image.  Things just take a tiny bit longer to populate.

Is this the nature of a VM, or can I dedicate resources in a different way to match the abilities of my Chromebox?
