Thumb Drive Failing?

This may sound like a funny question but how do I know if my thumb drive which has the unRAID OS on it is starting to fail?

I am getting this errors in my syslog and seeing as the only usb device I have plugged in is the OS I assume there is an issue.

    Have you tried pulling it and running a chkdsk on a Windows machine?  Shut down your server cleanly and backup the files first...
