[6.4.0-rc7a] unRAID does not boot without keyboard

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just installed unRAID 6.4.0-rc7a and found a bug.

When using EFI boot and remove my keyboard, my server is not booting up unRAID. It's not even booting to the GRUB bootloader.

Legacy Boot seems to work fine, without an attached keyboard.

This problem doesn't happen on my server with other EFI partitions and different operating systems and is not a feature of my BIOS.

Can someone confirm?

Works fine for me.  Why not simply use Legacy boot and not worry about it?

I use UEFI and can boot without keyboard, no problem. What motherboard are you using?

I'm using a Dell T20 server and never had problems in that regard.

I was using Proxmox before with EFI boot and could boot up without a keyboard.

The GUI doesn't work on a EFI boot on the T20 either.  End up with the good old flashing cursor with no X starting.
