NIC config.

Featured Replies

Hi

Im looking for some advice on how to setup my NIC configuration.

Im running a unraid VM-server. Im running it on a HP server with an Intel Quad NIC card.

The different VMs i'll be running on the server, are required to be connected to different LANs.

What would best way to go about this?

I looked into passing each nic through to seperat VMs, however all the NIC's are in the same OIMMU grp and enabling acs overide doesn't change that.

Don't overcomplicate things.

Enable the bridge function for each NIC (see network settings) and use different bridges for each VM.

Keep in mind that if you want to use dynamic (DHCP) settings for each bridge then you need multiple DHCP servers, perhaps easiest would be to just assign static IP addresses.
