I have the unraid 6.3.5

 

Mobo is an Msi H110i Pro

 

recently bought a new hard disk, an WD Gold of 8 TB

I already had 3 WD Golds of 4 TB

 

Mobo and unraid both don't see the new disk

    If the motherboard doesn't see it, no chance that unRaid will.  Look for power connectors, sata connectors, port disabled in bios, etc.  Could just plain be a toasted drive.

    I know that sata cable works, power works and that the port is not disabled in bios.

    I tested a different drive on the same sata and power and it works fine.

    I also testen the drive in a different pc and it works fine.
